Collection comprises mostly 20th century American children's books and juvenile literature. Collection includes series of books by Morrow Junior Books and Greenwillow Books, among others, and several works by children's authors and illustrators Kurt Werth, James Stevenson, Kurt Wiese, Lynd Ward, James Henry Daugherty, Nora Unwin, Inez Hogan, Leonard Everett Fisher, Berta and Elmer Hader, and Maud Petersham Fuller, among many others. Collection includes authors' and illustrators' autographed copies.
